What happens when I report content or a user?

When you report a piece of content or a user on Knowunity, our dedicated team takes your concerns seriously. We have a structured process in place to ensure that every report is thoroughly reviewed and appropriate actions are taken.

Reporting Process

Here’s how the reporting process works:

  1. Submission: You can report content or a user through the reporting feature available on the app.
  2. Review: Once a report is submitted, our team reviews the case to determine if it violates our community guidelines.
  3. Action: Based on the findings, we will take the necessary actions, which may include:
    • Deleting the reported content.
    • Contacting the user involved for clarification or warning.
    • Blocking or permanently deleting the user’s account in severe cases.

Consequences of Reporting

The consequences of reporting a user or content can vary based on the severity of the violation:

  • Minor Violations: For less serious issues, we may simply remove the content and issue a warning to the user.
  • Serious Violations: In cases of significant misconduct, we may choose to block the user or permanently delete their account.

Why Reporting is Important

Reporting helps maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users. By reporting inappropriate content or behavior, you contribute to the overall quality of the Knowunity community.

Note: If you see content that violates our guidelines, please report it immediately to help us take action.
